Seedream 5.0 Pro Settings: Check Ratio and Resolution

Seedream 5.0 Pro’s text-to-image endpoint starts from a written brief and documents endpoint-specific aspect-ratio, resolution and file-format settings. The exact available values should be read from the current endpoint page and the ImageGen Studio form. Do not assume edit routes or other models use the same choices.

Choose a frame before a size

Start with the destination: portrait, square tile, product listing or wide banner. Select a supported aspect ratio that matches the use, then choose a resolution that meets the pixel requirement. Ratio controls shape; resolution controls pixel dimensions.

Select format for the handoff

The text-to-image endpoint documents file-format settings. Check the current options and the requirements of the application that will receive the image. Use a format compatible with transparency or post-production needs only when the actual route supports it.

Keep prompt and settings in agreement

If the prompt asks for a wide room with negative space but the selected frame is square, the composition may be constrained. State the subject placement and crop intent; do not rely on ratio alone to communicate the brief.

Distinguish generation from editing

Seedream 5.0 Pro text-to-image begins from a written prompt. Seedream 5.0 Flash Edit is a separate image-edit route that accepts reference images, with its own supported inputs and settings. Check the relevant endpoint for exact controls before applying instructions from one to the other.

Record settings when comparing

Write down the model route, prompt, ratio, resolution and format from the active form. Compare a small number of outputs against the same criteria—composition, detail and factual accuracy. Do not conclude one setting is universally best from a single image.

Prompt or planning example

Brief: a centered ceramic lamp in a wide room scene, with empty space at left for layout. Before generating, confirm the selected Seedream T2I route offers the needed ratio, output size and format; then inspect the image at its actual placement size.

Adapt this starting point to the source image, destination and controls shown in the selected route. Keep the original where relevant, then compare the result against the specific details named in your brief. If a detail is factual, verify it from a trusted source before using the image.
