Seedream 5.0 Pro image generator: prompts and model controls

Seedream 5.0 Pro turns a text brief into one image at 1K or 2K. Its broad choice of aspect ratios helps when the same concept needs a poster, a product card, a wide banner or a narrow story frame.

One free generation across all four tools. Create an account for 5 promotional credits. Model policies and results vary; review the settings and estimate before generating.

Use a brief with an obvious visual hierarchy

Identify the focal subject and explain how the supporting objects should relate to it. Name the lighting direction, material details and background. For graphics with words, quote the exact text and describe its placement, then inspect the lettering in the generated result.

A minimalist poster for a neighborhood plant sale. One large illustrated monstera leaf on a warm cream background, title "PLANT WEEKEND" at the top, generous spacing, dark green and terracotta accents, tall 4:5 format.

Resolution, file format and thinking

1K and 2K use different current price bands. JPEG gives a compact file; PNG is a useful handoff for further editing. The thinking control asks the model to refine the prompt before generation. Turning it off can help a quicker draft, but timing and output quality still vary with the request.

Build the next step from an approved frame

Download a frame you want to keep, then use the image editor for revisions or image-to-video for motion. Generated files and the source material you later upload follow the storage rules described in our privacy policy.

Start with the tool that fits your material

Use text-to-image for a new still, text-to-video for a new scene, image editing to revise an existing picture, or image-to-video to animate a starting frame. Compare image generation and video generation, and see credit packs before a paid job.
