Seedance 2.0 text-to-video generator: audio and resolution

Seedance 2.0 generates a video from a written scene, with 4 to 15 seconds of fixed duration and resolutions from 480p to 4K. It supports a native soundtrack and an optional web-research step for the brief.

One free generation across all four tools. Create an account for 5 promotional credits. Model policies and results vary; review the settings and estimate before generating.

Specify action, camera and sound together

Keep the action achievable within the selected duration. Describe how the camera tracks the subject and what is audible. For dialogue, keep the lines brief and clearly attribute them. Review the resulting voice, timing and visuals before using the clip in a finished production.

A cyclist rides slowly along a coastal path at sunrise. Wide tracking shot at bicycle speed, calm sea behind, warm light on the rocks. Four seconds, wind and tire sounds, no dialogue or text.

Use web research only when it serves the scene

The web-research switch lets the model look up information related to the prompt. It uses a different provider rate, so turning it on changes the displayed credits. A fictional still-life or landscape brief may not need that step. The bitrate setting affects the delivered file size and encoding quality.

Resolution and length determine the budget

The current supported tiers are 480p, 720p, 1080p and 4K. The cost rises with resolution and requested seconds. The tool offers fixed durations so the billed quantity is clear before you queue it; it does not expose an unpriced automatic-duration choice.
